Filipino and English are the official languages of the Philippines. Despite Filipino being the national language, only 55 percent of the population can speaks the language. English is commonly used for educational, governmental and commercial purposes. It is very common to hear the people use mixture English and Filipino words in their normal conversations.

Religion

About 90 percent of the populations in the Philippines are catholic.
